Default RE: xrc buggy

I ran an xrc buggy a few weeks ago. It's not bad, but the motor was rather lazy.. The motor didn't rev-up very good. It is different from a Zenoah or CY. This means that there aren't any upgrades readily available for these motors. The motor mounts and differential appear to be improved over FG, Duratrax, Smartech, and other FG clones/hybrids. The shocks are sloppy and bouncy. Perhaps a heavier oil would help that. The main concern would be parts availability. God knows that we don't need any more large scale vehicles like the Firehammers where parts are not available and the vehicle is broken more than not.

The XRC vehicle is a classic case of Buyer Beware!

If it helps with your decision, I passed on the opportunity to buy. I'll stick with my MCD's and FG's.
