Grumman,
I reread your post. If you havent spent the money for an SK 1.3, I would recommend you spend the extra 100 bucks for an OS160 for that 16x10 prop. I just dont think you will be happy with the 1.3 on this heavy of an airplane. I dont think you have the power and speed you want. If you look at the GMS 1.20, its specs are nearly the same, but higher revving motor, and its not enough motor for this plane.

I think most folks would agree you need a hi revving 2 stroke 1.40 or better on this to achieve good dash speed, but have enough power to get off the grass.

Please...anyone else chime in. I know folks are pleased with the OS 160. ...BTW, thats what is going on mine...the 1.60 is sitting in the shop at my buddy's house now. I know you will be happy with that combo. I own a GMS 1.20 too, so I had to bite the bullet and get another motor.
