RE: Hating my Hi Tech....
Weird! I have nearly 500 hitec servo's in my 150+ rc's and have yet to burn one up. I have tried futaba's, JR's, Airtronics/sanwa and the hitecs are the only ones I stuck with. Price/function they are the best for my money. The only thing that has happened is a few stripped and it was purely my fault. I use 805's and 5745's in all my large scale stuff and have yet to hurt one of them....and I bash them hard.
