Dear Captains,
Work is finally resuming on Dauntless after bieng away for over 2 weeks. Before i left, i filled the inside part of the hull deck with Marine epoxy going around the perimeter of the deck. Last night, i sanded and used small wood planking and epoxied them in place. I did that so i can build the hull deck as close to the cabins as possible to minimize water seepage from splash that may come over the decks in choppy water. Tonight, i will sand, fill, and add additional planks as necessary to complete this task. When i am done, the cabins will be custom fit to the hull.
In the next day or 2, i will begin to make the exterior door for the Main cabin, and two more for the aft cabin.
I will keep you posted.
