Best engine .45-53?
These are always fun! I will be building a Matney models Zoomer. I have the 12% tapered wing coming so it should be pretty clean and fast.
I will be building this for some club racing with essentially no rules. I want the fastest engine without getting too much over $200.00. I want it to be user friendly for starting, idling and then running fast.
I have thought about the Irvine .53, Rossi .53, Rossi .45, Thunder tiger .46, OS .46 AX. I will be adding a quarter wave pipe (ultra thrust or can) so I will gain a little there. Let me hear your opinions and prop choices. I do not want a nelson or Jett. And I do not really want to go over .53 for displacement.
