Default RE: RC Surfer

Hi
I just bought an NQD surfergirl and registered here because you seem to hav lots of experience with it....i´m from germany and in the german forums nobody tuned the surfer....
im a student so it should be not too expensive and so i decided to get a brushed motor, elektronics and an new servo (is this the right word for it??) in it. i think i got a quite good decisison for electronics but the motor is my problem. the original one is not really powerful enough for the waves in netherlands, even if they are only about 1m high.

do you use tuning-motors from RC-Cars????or special-boat-motors??? i got a look on a 17 or 19 turn car-motor from lrp with about 28000 (at 17T) or 25000 rpm (at 19T) at 7,2V....do you think this might work or is it to much or less power?? i would like to use the original prop for the start.

thanks for your answer

Michael
