RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!
Got some more charging information and some questions. I did the AC adapter mod to a Power Hawk charger and discovered something. I put a voltmeter on the charge lead output to monitor it and the charger never cuts off. It stops charging but it's because the battery disconnects from the circuit at a certain point. That must be what the extra board on the new batteries does. I tried charging my AA Bipe with PH battery with the little board removed and it I'm seeing a much lower voltage at the charge lead than with the PH but the motors are spinning faster. I haven't taken it apart to check the actual battery voltage but I'm wondering if anyone else has charged one of these newer batteries without the protection board and checked the voltage. I'm gonna guess it is overcharging the battery but can someone confirm this?
