Default RE: .60 P-36 Black Horse

She's still doing great, although, it has rained here most of the week.
The last time I flew was this past Sunday.
I'm still having the same LG problems,[:@] but I was also experimenting with the stalls.
As it turns out, the reccommended throws are probably a lil' too high.
If the throws were set to 1/2 of the manufacturers suggestion (rudder and elevator only), the plane flies very well, with no bad tendencies...I ended up setting those as "LOW"
I then decreased the recommended throws on the rudder and elevator by 3-5 MM and have that as my "HIGH" rate.
That way I don't have such a bad stall even at high speeds.
Aileron throws are 2/3 of suggested on low rates, and the 2-3 MM less on high.
I like a fast roll rate though.[8D]
There's a warbird fly-inn at our club this Sunday (10-28-07), and she'll be flying in it.

if you live anywhere near, you should stop by...It should be great fun!
