If the red thing is a lipo, then you will probably need to buy another charger other than the mini peak. I seriuosly doubt that charger has CC/CV for lipo charging. If it is a normal NiMh or NiCd you'll be okay. My friends micro rs4 handles awesome on the driveway but cant handle rough pavement. They are pretty nice if you spend the time to set them up right.
