RE: .60 P-36 Black Horse
Sounds like a great idea to me...I had thought of doing that, but why not simply change the cowl on the H9 P-40 and viola, you now have a P-36.
When I 1st opened my P-36 and I saw the retract position, I almost made it an A75 Hawk with fixed gear & wheel fairings as thats how most of the foreign Hawks were.
A simple repaint job on the H9 P40 with the BH cowl would certaainly be an easy conversion...Only pronlem being is that the H9 bird doesn't have the split flaps does it ?
I know the H9 planes don't need them anyway, but it's a nice touch.
