1/8 Funny car project!!
Well Nitrorage and his cars inspired me to build my own. Thought I would drop in and show off my next project. I ordered full scale funnycar plans from Mark Williams chassis online. I thought I would have to scan and resize them for 1/8th scale. when I got them they were already scaled in 1/8th. I ordered 16 feet (planning on building more than one chassis)of 3/16 4130 chromoly tubing from Wicks Aircraft supply and will start the tube chassis soon. The body is from New Era Models. I will update this post as I work along with the project. I'm also making a homemade tubing notcher that I will let you peep when I'm finnished..
