Yes it is.....I know its not a real tubing notcher,But it works pretty darn good. I also used it to cut my chromoly tubing. I also have a sherline mill. Once you realize how handy they can be you just cant live without them. Funny thing is that I use the taig for almost anything. Even milling!! I dont know why I even bought the sherline..... The Taig lathe is a very handy machine..and cheap!!
