Zman, super looking plane! I have never tried this, but I've heard that it is possible to heat shrink soda bottles over wood molds to make cowls. Otherwise, unless you want to go through the entire process of making your own custom fiberglass cowl, you might find an ARF cowl that is close enough of a fit with your planes' fuselage.
