aha i see ya problem, the turnbuckles are meant to be mounted on the lower side of the knuckles and steering bellcrank, if u install them on the top it will put huge toe in on the wheels. Mount them on the lower sides and u will be fine

Also u adjust the turnbuckles by turing the shaft, the shaft is threaded into the turbnuckle ends, and when u twist the shaft it threads in and out of the turnbuckles, thats what the squared of area is for in the middle of the turnbuckle.
