Default Hitec 625 or 645 for steering?

The 645 is kinda slow for steering duty. I tried it on my savage and it didn't work out very well it was to slow.I'd go with the 625 for throttle/brake(more torque=better braking)and get a 945 for steering it has 122oz of torque and .16 sec with 4.8 volts and 1330z of torque and .14 sec. with 6 volts.
