For what it's worth, I appreciate the Oscar for it's simple lines and proportions. The Zero is of a like aesthetic, but more common. Glad to see people look at these. I like the "George" which is like a P-47 or FW-190 a bit. I've seen the real Zero at the Smithsonian, and one thing I can say is that the fit and finish is such that one would think it went through the worst possible hail storm! NOTHING like American fighters!
