.... making stand made of pvc pipe looks cheap but actually it's more costly by the time it's done, unless there's pvc there sittin' around,,i been doin this in my boats...
More costly than what? I spent about $18 including PVC glue and Krylon Fusion paint at Lowe's. It doesn't get much cheaper than that for a solid, secure work stand...a lot of people don't even use glue or paint on theirs.
