Why "fix" that which isn't remotely broken?
Skip the in between steps and just ask for a plane that lands itself when it has a problem of any sort.
When you get that worked out I'll quit flying--------where is the challenge??
Your 'suggestion' adds part counts and failure modes in multiples of the components (which incidentally are not trouble prone) you suggest replacing.
No, NOT a good idea IMO.
BTW just where is the power going to come from? A battery pack for each servo?
