Default RE: Building a Top Flite GE 1/8 scale F4U Corsair

Well it's almost finished. I will finish the ailerons tomorrow and post the final product. I cleaned my shops today so I can start the 1/4 scale. Here are a couple pic's with all the decals and the wing with everything but the painted ailerons on. After I finish them I'll put them on and finish with all the hookups of the battery/receiver for the lights and the flying surfaces/throttle. Then I'll take it to my Ace Hardware and weight it on their postal scale for exact weight which I'll post. Then I'll play the waiting game for the custom exhaust. Since that will bring this build to a stand still I got ready for the BIG BIRD BUILD now and started to unwrap the parts. The sticks, sheets, and misc. wood is in a seperate box. The main spar for the center section is in a flat box pretected by aluminum.
