GWS Mustang
Need help. I fly glow and a IFO but no other electrics. I recently purchased a built but not flown P-51. It has a GWS 300 motor, an 8 cell Ni/MH AAA, 600mah battery pack, and a 9070 prop. The tail seems to slide from side to side when flying straight and I can do barrel rolls but it will not do a loop. It will get vertical , almost a hover, and then fall out of the loop. It seems not to have enough power to climb on over the top????? Is this normal????? Could the CG be to far rearward? The motor seems noisy. If I have to replace the motor, how do you get the old one out??????
