Yes, they are short kits. You get all of the balsa and plywood curved parts like ribs and bulkheads, but you will need to buy the canopy as a seperate item. You do get the fuse sides but not the balsa for the top skins or any straight balsa for sheeting the fuse or flying surfaces. You need to provide the spruce and balsa strip wood as well. I got 50 pieces of 3/32x48, 10- 1/8x48,10-1/4x48 from international balsa for $88.00 shipped to my house and have over half remaining for the second plane. You will need a little plywood in 1/8 and 1/4 for mounting horns and some various hardwood for the nose gear mount and corner of the fuse stringers. Builds fast, had a good time building mine. I'm working on a BVM Electra now and will start the second one most likely next week. Just ask if you have any questions
