Yes there should be. It will usually click to three spots: normal, Idle up 1, and Idle up 2. It is usually on the left side. The throttle hold will turn the motor off. I am not familiar with the DX6i, but on the DX7 there is also a pitch curve for the throttle hold. It is normally used to do auto rotations.
