Default RE: looking for speed model

regarding the revolver, razor is correct. a tuned pipe on this plane would be a mistake. to many extentions and the landing gear make it a pain to make work. i am sure some of the speed guys could make it work. ask dub jett if his turbo in cowl muffler would help out with the rpm. i had a t.w. 75 on my revolver till the bearings went out. i think the plane was a little faster with that engine. it is a little lighter than the 75ax. i have a 12x8 prop on my ax. with my other plane, i have the 91fx w/ the jett muffler and toni extention setup to clear the fuselage. i also installed the toni landing gear. i had to make some bends in the gear to make it work, but it was worth it. that is about as big an engine i would put on that plane.
