RE: can you get a fg marder to wheely?
A well warmed-up engine with a good tune and a clutch that grips well can make a huge difference. I have the Marder style Monster Beetle and when I got it used it was BONE STOCK! (stock pipe, tires, gearing, totally stock.) It would wheelie from a standstill or at about 20mph with a blip of the throttle across a parking lot. (even flew straight up into the air after slamming into a concrete curb once!) Mine could be an unusual case, but as long as everything is running right I would think that (from what I've heard) the addition of a good tuned pipe will get the wheelies happening for you. The stock tires should get a good grip on some nice dry grass maybe heading up a slight incline. The softer the tires compound the better your chance for pulling wheelies.
