Ladies and gentlemen...

[link=http://www.festo.com/cms/de_de/5890_6299.htm]The AirJelly[/link]

An indoor, RC flying jellyfish.

They claim (and, to be certain, I can't find any proof to the contrary) that this is the first airborne use of peristaltic motion as a drive mechanism.

Surprise, surprise...air really IS a fluid.
Hi all,

I'm at home alone at the moment, wife away looking after grandchild while my son disports himself in Cyprus on holiday.

I'm having to survive on my own cooking, leaves a lot to desire. Your peristaltic drive has me wondering if I can personally produce the flotation gas and peristaltic force. Not for indoor flying I guess.
