RE: soaking engines in antifreeze
Also, I've been told that the anti-freeze can harm the glow plug elelment. I've done a couple of engines with good results, but I always removed the glow plug, so I don't know about the element being affected. Remember, the engine will be very hot when you remove it. Don't just stick your hand into the pot. Use tongs or wrap a wire thru the mounting holes that you can use to pull the engine out.
