Of those two the 3002 is the far better servo, but I would suggest the futaba 9650 over it. It has nylon gears (is lighter and develops less slop over time), is digital, and cheaper.

Hitec makes a good servo for racing when your starting out and on a budget, but as you progress, you will appreciate the centering and precision of the higher dollar servos.
