RE: Q500 racing in san diego?
I heard at one time that the Palomar field was holding VERY low keyed Racing with their own twist of rules,,, not sure if they are still doing it now. The only 2 places that I know of are at Whittier Narrows and the Basin,,, from your location the Whittier field approx 160 miles and the Basin 200 plus(?)
Camp Pendleton has a great place to fly but the waiting list is long.
