Default RE: The complete YELLOW AIRCRAFT SPITFIRE thread.

Well Guys, I couldn't wait any longer so I went ahead and brought a 3W 55I from Model Design here in OZ.
After seeing '60's and '70's installed I thought the '55' would be a good compromise for power and fit. It has a rear carby and prop extensions are avaliable from Sierra. I also like the idea of the slanted exhaust manifold face that should make the exhaust stacks easier to confine in the cowl.

Last night I also ordered all my servos and 9 channel PCM receiver, reversing 'Y' lead for flaps, extension leads and heavy duty switches X 2.

I am thinking to keep things simple by just 'Y' leading two battery packs into my receiver and not using a power box. The Spitty will not be drawing that much power that I will need 'boosted' signals. Any thoughts on this?

Next is retract equipment to make my gear work.

Oh man talk about pumped!!!!!!!!!![>:]
