Default more problems with my new falcon 40

i got a falcon 40 monday this week, broke a servo that day, and got the replacement today.

i was flying it today, everything was working on the first battery pack, and then i took a short break, and tried some more with a second battery pack. half way through the second pack it started having serious control issues, and then the tail motor stopped spinning, so i throttled down as soon as i noticed it and went over to take a look.

the wire leading to the tail motor was melted, and had apparently shorted. i was hoping andy or someone could tell me if there was any sort of warranty or replacement deal or something, ive seen people get some things taken care of here before, if i remember correctly. i bought it from x-heli if that makes a difference.

also, i have the tail motor stick trimmed all the way to the right, and it still rotates slightly to the left when its flying. is there anything i can do myself to fix that?

thanks in advance
