As I mentioned in the previous post, I had to shim the main retracts a bit for proper function. In doing that, it affected the way that the doors operated so I got to start all over on the strut door!!!! As I was beginning to deal with the strut door again I was hating the angle that it sat at and was thinking of all the retraction issues and an idea popped into my head. I got to thinking of a way to have the door parrallel with the airplane when it was extended and fit flush when the gear came up and locked. After many hours thinking of a simple, light and clean way to do it, this is what I came up with...
