Is the HS needle at absolute peak when you set the LS needle? The two needles effect each other somewhat and since the HS needle has a fixed seat it needs to be peaked to get the LS needle correct, then the HS needle can richened down about 200 rpm without changing the LS setting.
Maybe not "absolute" since I was adjusting both needles trying to get it to smooth out. I'll try again paying special attention to the adjustment of the HSNV.
