Nice job on the tank forum's most ubiquitous smoke generator fix (the computer fan).
What I am curious about though, is more details about the "household fuse wire" you used to replace the filament. Can you elaborate on that and what it is exactly? If it works long-term, then we may have a viable fix for these troublesome little smoke units.
Whereas others promptly discard the smoker after it gives up the ghost, I always like to see one that has survived albeit in a different form.
