Default RE: 1/4 Scale F4U-1A Don Smith Plans Build

I worked on duplicating the engine in the Corsair I'm replicating and had to go to ACE to get some copper tubing, electrical connectors, and solid black wire. I bent the tube around the front of the crankcase where it is on the scale plane and then used a little putty to smooth it out when it cures. I had to cut the electrical conector in half so it was the same size on both ends. It fit the spark plug perfectly and the wire. I drilled a hole in the tubing to insert the wire and cut the insulatiopn on the ends. Then I just glued the wire into the connector and the tubing. It will all be primed when it's sanbded and smooth and it will get a coat of flat black. The spark plugs will be white and the connector will be red. It looks pretty ugly now but when it's all done it will look good. Here is a pic of the engine with one plug wire done.
