Jr or Airtronics
I've got a couple of JR X-347s and an 8103.
Never had a problem, and all three are running on their original batteries.... the oldest was bought in '92.
I've got both JR and Hitec Receivers and servos and other than a few stripped gears in the cheaper Hitecs, never had a radio problem. JR programming is pretty straight forward and other than a few enhancements, is the same throughout the line.
I've never owned an Airtronics but I've had the opportunity to fly some of them that are owned by several guys at the field. I'm sure they are fine, but at least to me, JR's logo says it all --- Feel the difference.
