RE: Sundowner 50 with Jett 60 motor issue
Just blank off the port cowl cheek opening, so the only air exiting is the air that went over the head fins. Even the "chin" opening could be blanked off. This gets the air in:air out ratio better, and all airflow through the cowl is cooling the motor effectively, as it has all gone over the head.
