Churchill's quote, of course, was in reference to the Royal Air Force's Fighter Command having fought back the Germans during the Battle of Britain. I don't think any Avengers were used in that conflict.
I'm kidding! I, too, am drawn to aircraft in British markings and seeing American aircraft like the TBF done up with roundels is really cool! I think you've made a great choice!
