What a sad report about Corona's receivers. Thank you for taking time to share your experiences!
For whatever it may be worth, I am VERY pleased with my Polk Tracker III system. It's all synthesized (both the transmitter and my two receivers) and gives me rock solid performance in all of my glow and electric airplanes! So, thanks to your good advice, I'll be spending $60 instead of $40.
