Here are the two version I am building. The one on the left is the E version and the right hand one is the G version. With just not using the plywood parts it all ready feels lighter. The G version is stronger but it is heavy. I have the planking done on the bottom of the E version.

I will pick up the carbon tube tomorrow for the spars. The spruce spar is pretty heavy. I think the balsa and carbon spars will cut the weight down some. If I can shave a little here and there it will add up.
