Default RE: 1/64 Plywood Wing Skins Any Good?

Back in the early '90's, i used to skin my wings with 1/64th ply. That worked great
with the Rossi's we were running at the time. It made a stiff wing and was strong enough
for the Rossi. When I switched over to Nelsons, the wings were not strong enough and
folded. Around the same time, Jim Katz and Pete Rouark were using Obechi to skin
.15 quarter midget wings. However, it is not strong enough to hold up to todays speeds
and loads. The top skins collapse from compression. If you are just racing Thunder Tigers,
it might work with a spar and fiberglass inside.
