, ive read that if you smear the tires (rubber) with a little WD-40, it softens the rubber up and makes it more "grippy" ive heard people doing that on their belt drive cars, its worth a shot
, i think i can tell why your rims cracked, the alum arms/caster blocks are soo stiff that when you hit, the rim took ALL the impact, had you been running, say the stock arms, that would have been more of a non issue.
RC18 update:
Installed the Vendetta ST wing [X(] this thing is AMAZING, no longer does the car go "wheee nosedive' it flies much more level, rear end seems more planted.... i mounted mine with the 18B mounts, (little CA helps hold it on) and then i just CA'd on the wing itself to the mounts, SO FAR the CA's holding, it has seen a few flips (bad jumping on my part) but other than that, im impressed, have yet to change the shock oils yet.... whatever. ok ok, enough talk about our track, tomorrow i will get some pics up, mind you, its still under construction [>:]
