Default RE: 1/5 Top Flight P-51 Electric

I was just checking out tower ..they have a sullivan skylite wheel ..with an aluminum hub that looks pretty good..

what do you think? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXHML6&P=0

just thinking

I'm glassing this one and want to hit the same weight as my last ARF version which was 24 pounds with monokote

1.I plan on lightening the cockpit kit and pilot.. (the armor plat and batt. box are heavy.. going to make with balsa... drill out the pilot where i can)
2. running two small lipos for the RX .. much lighter than ni cad or ni metal
3. the wheels
4. easy on the glass job and piant.. useing ploy c and laytex paint
5. lighter servos and RX
6. removing any wood that's not needed

if I hit 24 pounds I'll be a really happy camper
I know the scale guys think I'm nuts..
I had a hanger 9 P-51 that I tricked out and it went up to 10.5 pounds with no fuel... it was a handful to land
I built the same plane electric at 8 pounds and it's a joy to fly
That's why I'm trying hard to stay light
