I am quite familiar with the airframe. My first question is just exactly what do you think you can glue 'supports' to ?????
There is almost nothing there.
What you can find is 2mm ply about 6mm wide. That's the 'heavy' part of the fuselage construction.
It becomes a lot lighter from there on.
Do as you like but it is a waste of time and money IMO.
BTW, please take some pictures. I want to SEE this!
