Go to Ofna web site and you should be able to down load the manual if not try Hobao Racing web site. Hard to tell but the only thing I see that might be up graded is the Kingz Head engine mount but hard to tell. Things you will to up grade to a 8.5.

Not sure what it is called but the front plate over the steering bell.
If it has the orgnial rear shock tower then it as well.
All so the 8.5 has a spider center diff but I do not run it as I like the standard one better.
I have both the Hyper 8 pro and the 8.5 pro.
Look on ebay as you can get parts there new CHEAP
