You must love those Y's..... until you lose your $4000 plane. Why not learn to use your programmer and a 9 ch reciever?
I'm not sure I understand your logic. I know how to use my programmer. I'm going to have to use it no matter what direction I go. A smart fly and a match box is just a really spiffy Y. You take both leads and plug them into one place then plug that lead into your RX. That makes it a Y correct? Maybe you are thinking of a servo reverser? Besides I only have 7 channels to play with. So I have to make due with what I have.
