tom111, if mcdeurope say it's a 2009 spec model then I'm clearly wrong. However, I would point out that the 2009 models have steel and not plastic drive gears, upgraded shocks, alloy servo tray, alloy centre diff mounts........
The inflation values were included in some of the last 2008 model year Monster Trucks produced.
Foxy, unfortunately the Sport and Competition (the mainly plastic ones) models are unlikely to come down in price. Maybe if there was more competition for MCD (in europe) they might reduce the prices but I don't expect the situation to change unless that is the new FG Sportsline 4WD off roaders are priced below the MCDs........
