ya check the orings, gaskets in the replacment carb. also check the carb manifold. the stock plastic ones can warp/crack and cause a leak. you can get it idleing and spray wd 40 directly at the seams and stuff around the carb, see if the idle change, or if the motor stalls when your shooting the carb, keeping aware of where the spray is hitting the carb. i can point you toward a leak.
