Default RE: Breaking rear drive shafts

ORIGINAL: ddre55555

if you run in sand or loose dirt they tend to break
Not sure the reasoning why they would break in loose dirt or sand when there is very little resistance. I have broke a few on my f4.6 savage. Mostly from jumping but never just running around. I have broke 3 of the standard drive shafts. I then upgraded to the HB shaft and it snaps axles now. I have a FLM extended chassis savage running the lrp. That truck has twisted axles but not broke any. Use the HB drive shaft and stock black dog bones and you should be good. The chrome HD shafts from the X SS are junk and snap like twigs.
