Hi there!
I have done the same thing with OS 77 df's. Keep the prop small enough so that it runs in the 22000 range where its happiest. Deltas are the fastest although I built a stilletto mustang using a thin mustang wing...clocked in the high 180's. on 15% fuel and cut 11x8 apc prop.
