Evil, I have never even had mine come loose. It is held on just like the full scale with a cable. It is a good system. Not sure of the price difference. I just like the scale looks of the GTM cowl. I had to move my engine back 2 5\8" to get the engine to fit. It was lot of work as a retrofit but very much worth it in the end.
